At Nostalgia Game Shop, we’re committed to delivering working, authentic retro games and consoles that bring back the good times. As most of our products are preowned, please read the policy below carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
Change of Mind
We do not accept returns for change of mind. Please choose carefully before purchasing.
Faulty Items
If your item is faulty (e.g. it doesn’t work as described or fails to function under normal use), we’ll gladly offer a full refund, in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
To initiate a return:
- Contact us at hello@nostalgiagameshop.com.au within 14 days of receiving your item
- Provide proof of fault, such as a photo or video of the issue
- Once approved, we’ll provide a prepaid return label
- A full refund will be processed to your original payment method once we receive the item back
Note: We only accept return requests for faulty items within 14 days of delivery. This ensures that faults present on arrival can be addressed, and helps distinguish from damage caused after receipt.
For issues beyond this time, please contact us and we’ll assess case-by-case in good faith.
Used Game Condition
Most items we sell are preowned and may show signs of wear.
We grade all items according to our Condition Guide, which outlines generally expected cosmetic conditions. Every game varies greatly, so we have done our best to develop as objective a scale as possible.
Cosmetic imperfections (e.g. scratches on cases, manual wear) that are accurately described in the listed condition do not qualify as faults, provided the item functions correctly.
Refunds
All refunds will be issued via the original payment method used at checkout. We are unable to process refunds to alternate accounts or methods.
